June Change for Change: Tapestry Health

Our June Change for Change recipient is Tapestry Health.

Tapestry Health's mission is to provide vital, effective, and inclusive community health services and resources for optimal well- being and vibrant communities. They believe in a world in which health and wellness is a human right, accessible to all, and free from social and structural inequities.

Founded 50 years ago, Tapestry has grown over the last five decades into a leading expert on critical public health issues that affect people and communities. Their core belief is that compassionate, dignified healthcare is a human right. They recognize that health disparities are rooted in injustice, and that people face real barriers to care based on income, race or ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, geography, trauma history, and more.

Tapestry is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate, and community-based care to everyone in our region, including the most vulnerable. They are passionate about providing non-judgmental sexual and reproductive healthcare, syringe access and disposal, overdose prevention and education, HIV health and prevention, and WIC family nutrition.
