April Change for Change: Center for EcoTechnology

Our April Change for Change recipient is the Center for EcoTechnology of Florence, MA!

The Center for EcoTechnology (CET) helps people and businesses save energy and reduce waste. Their mission is to research, develop, demonstrate, and promote those technologies which have the least disruptive impact on the natural ecology of the Earth.

The need to tackle climate change and build a just and equitable transition to a low-carbon economy is more urgent than ever. CET believes that each of us has the power to make a difference. They work with partners throughout the local region as well as across the country to transform the way we live and work – for a better community, economy, and environment. For more than 45 years, CET has offered practical solutions to save money, increase the health and comfort of our homes, and help businesses perform better.

EcoBuilding Bargains, CET's reuse store in Springfield, is the largest reclaimed and surplus building materials store in New England. The store accepts donations of quality home improvement materials and sells them to the public at discounted prices.
