This is an active slow-flow yoga class that is accessible to folks who are able to confidently get up and down from the mat. In this alignment-based slow-flow yoga class, we will explore how the body & breath move together as we play through a variety of yoga poses, including standing poses,  backbends, twists and forward folds. Skillful body alignment will be a key focus as will developing our strength and flexibility. Please bring your own yoga mat and a blanket.

ABOUT BETH TASCIONE

Yoga has floated in and out of Beth’s life since she was a curious 4-year-old, a stressed-out teenager, and finally, an adult seeking some sense of inner peace. Studying at various yoga centers in NYC led her to experience the power of the practice to help her find inner connection, restore a sense of balance, and – simply –just be herself. Beth loves moving with her breath, exploring how the body can develop strength while maintaining a sense of flexibility and freedom, and the deepening awareness that yoga practice encourages. She creates centering and reflective yoga classes that are infused with thoughtful and creative asana sequencing, deep mindful breathing, and skillful alignment principles, weaving yoga philosophies throughout in an accessible way. She provides a safe and supportive environment where students can let go of day-to-day stresses, reconnect with themselves more fully, and realize their wholeness and perfection.
