Pelvic Health Support for Every Life Stage
Sunday, 6/7/2026
This talk will cover several topics on women's pelvic health. You'll get a simple, easy-to-understand look at what the pelvic floor is, where it lives in the body, and the important role it plays in bladder and bowel control, core support, and everyday movement. We will discuss pelvic floor therapy, and who may benefit from it, and common concerns (e.g. bladder or bowel changes, discomfort, core weakness) and how to treat them.
Participants will also learn about pelvic floor changes during pregnancy, postpartum and the menopause transition, hormonal changes, what symptoms people notice, and why these changes are normal and not just something you have to live with. We'll also cover some simple, practical ways you can support your pelvic floor, and discuss gentle everyday strategies you can start using right away, including 360-degree breathing, posture and movement awareness, and healthy bladder and bowel habits that support pelvic floor function.
