ABOUT ABBY BEALE

Abby Beale became interested in homeopathy over 25 years ago when her nine-month old son had repeated ear infections with no relief after many antibiotics. One trip to a homeopath and the infections were resolved. This amazingly curious event got Abby interested in learning more, so she began reading about homeopathy. Along with the expert guidance of a qualified homeopath, she treated her family and eventually studied to become a nationally certified classical homeopath (CCH).

Abby currently practices in-person in Northampton, MA as well as online. She served for a total of 25 years on three non-profit boards: The National Center for Homeopathy (NCH) from 2012-2020, as conference chair for 2015 and 2016 and was Board President from 2017-2019. She served because she is passionate about educating people about homeopathy. She has also served on the board and was president of The Thinking Center (Hartford CT) and The Wallingford Public Library (Wallingford, CT).

In the past six years, Abby has been working on creating a new beginner book to help people learn how to use homeopathy at home for acute ailments. She had the pleasure of working with over 35 volunteer contributors consisting of professional homeopaths, student homeopaths and experienced home prescribers.

Always an entrepreneur and sole-proprietor, Abby started her own training business in 1988 as a speed reading and time management expert where she has done corporate training, association events, and webinars. She is also the creator and host of an online speed reading course called Rev it Up Reading. She is the author of 10 Days to Faster Reading, The Complete Idiots Guide to Speed Reading, Success Skills: Strategies for Study and Lifelong Learning, and Speed Reading: A Little-Known Time-Saving Superpower.

Abby holds a BA degree from Boston University majoring in Spanish and MS degree from Southern CT State University in Adult Learning. She is happily married with two adult sons. She enjoys swimming, walking, yoga and reading as time allows.
