What do wellness and self-care mean to you? This April, we invite you to meet four local Valley-area business owners making significant contributions to our local communities by promoting health, wellness and self-care!

Sara, Hannah and Bonnie will share the joys and challenges of running their businesses and how they have been shaped by being part of the Valley community. They will also discuss their perspectives on health and wellness, as well as offer self-care and wellness tips and advice.

MEET OUR PANELISTS

SARA COBLYN
- Sara Coblyn is a certified yoga teacher and gardening instructor for kids. She also runs Sweet Roots Gardens garden installation services and sells handmade care products like creams, bath bombs and body mists to Valley residents. Sara has worked professionally in agriculture and education for over fifteen years, developing and running agriculture-based youth development programs.
A 200-hour level certified yoga teacher through Nirvana Yoga, Sara currently teaches online classes through zoom and in her garden in the warmer weather. Sara also offers private adult yoga sessions and family yoga programs to parents and kids of all ages. She is trained in the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Program, in the Mindful Schools program and in Kristin Neff’s Mindfulness-Based Self-Compassion program. Sara is a skilled educator, nurturing teacher and passionate gardener with over 20 years of gardening experience. She enjoys working with people and sharing the experience of healing and joy she has found through her passions of yoga and gardening!

BONNIE DIAMOND
- In practice for over 20 years, licensed acupuncturist Bonnie Diamond offers individualized, heart-centered care using a pain-free Japanese style of acupuncture, craniosacral therapy and wellness counseling.
Her work is influenced by her nine-year struggle with and complete recovery from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome. Bonnie has a Master’s Degree from the New England School of Acupuncture and a B.A. in philosophy from Colgate University.

HANNAH JACOBSON-HARDY
- Hannah Jacobson-Hardy is a community herbalist and founder of Sweet Birch Herbals and Full Moon Ghee in Ashfield, MA. Hannah offers herbal consultations, custom-made formulas and teas, workshops, and a wide variety of products for sale at the Farmer’s Market in Northampton, online and at her herb farm store.
Hannah grows and wild-crafts over 100 varieties of medicinal and culinary herbs for her products, which can be found for sale at her farm store and at River Valley Co-op!
