Is your cat causing chaos and mischief at home? Spend an hour with cat behaviorist Elise Gouge going over common cat problems and their solutions. Using positive, science-based methodology, Elise will help you with simple, straightforward ideas to help your cat live his best life and also be the best possible companion. Topics will include scratching furniture or other household items, jumping on countertops and tables, climbing on window drapes, being too active at night, eating plants, and chewing on wires, plastics and fabrics. The presentation will also allot time for a question and answer session at the end.

Elise is the Owner of Pet Behavior Consulting. She has extensive experience in the temperament evaluation of animals and how to train others in learning the same skills. She is a Professional Member of the Association of Professional Dog Trainers, as well as a Certified Professional Dog Trainer and Certified Canine Behavior Consultant with the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers.  

She is a Certified Dog and Cat Behavior Consultant by the International Association for Animal Behavior Consultants and served as VP on its Board. Elise is a Canine Good Citizen evaluator and Tricks tester through the American Kennel Club, and currently getting certified in canine fitness through the University of Tennessee and canine massage through the Brandenburg School. She joined the Board of Directors for New England Border Collie Rescue in 2016 and serves as a consultant to Dakin Humane. Elise has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a Master's Degree in Community Health Education.
