ABOUT ANGELIQUE BRITT

Angelique is a registered nurse and licensed acupuncturist with over 20 years of clinical experience. After earning her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from UMass Amherst in 2003, she spent much of her nursing career in oncology and hospice—fields that deeply shaped her approach to healing. Hospice, in particular, holds a special place in her heart. More recently, her work in mental health has further fueled her commitment to supporting those navigating emotional and psychological challenges.

Drawn to the holistic and deeply individualized nature of Chinese medicine, Angelique began her formal training at the New England School of Acupuncture, where she earned a Master’s degree in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. During her time at NESA, she was honored with The Compassionate Healer Award for her exceptional clinical skill and ability to create a safe and trusting space for patients. She also received the Earth Element Award in recognition of her nurturing presence, steadiness, and advocacy for those in her care.

Angelique believes the best healthcare honors both Eastern and Western traditions. Her approach is grounded in the philosophy that healing doesn’t have to be an “either/or” choice—it can be a “both/and” path tailored to what each person needs to thrive.

She is board certified in acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine through the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). Angelique practices Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Orthopedic, and Sa’am styles of acupuncture.

She holds a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts and continues her advanced training through White Pine Institute’s Graduate Mentorship Program in Classical Chinese Medicine.
