Love art and want to support local talent as much as we do? Celebrate creativity in the valley with a fun-filled day of local arts, crafts, and wares with us at our first-ever Co-op Artisan Fair!
The River Valley Co-op Artisan Fair is a one-day event that will showcase a wide range of artwork and crafts created by our co-op community, with the goods being on display and for sale.
Our goal is to create a fun, family-friendly event that is diverse, inclusive, accessible for all, and showcases a range of voices and perspectives while coming together to celebrate the fantastic artists and makers who make our co-op community and region so special! The event will be free to attend and open to everyone in the community.

About the Artists
Eva Cappelli
Mixed Media
I'm a multimedia artist. I create things using paint, clay, metal, glass, fabrics and paper. I make journals of all kinds as well as art books. I house them in metal cans that have been decorated with alcohol inks, dragon eyes, and an assortment of other designs. I also decorate wooden boxes with polymer clay, paint, lace, steampunk gears, dragon eyes and much more!
Leslie Reed
Wearable Fibers
I love to sew clothing and make all kinds of different things. The materials I use are (mostly) cotton or polyester/spandex, and are frequently stretchy by either a little or a lot.

Denise Beaudet
Mixed Media • Paintings
I am a woodswalker who paints my impressions and imaginings of the creatures, beings, cycles and seasons that I encounter on my daily wanders through the wilds of Western Mass. For 30 years, painting has been my portal to finding how I fit into this world of beings, and how I feel my way into connection with the cycles of the planet. I paint on paper, stone and wood using acrylics, watercolor, and gouache.

Photography
Each card is handcrafted and signed by me. The cards are blank inside, come with a matching envelope, and are enclosed in a resealable protective wrapper. Each photograph is professionally printed on a matte surface measuring 4" x 6" and is matted in 5" x 7" archival card stock. The cards are ready for a standard 5" x 7" frame.
Passionato Books
Mixed Media • Works on Paper
I make unique hand-sewn journals in many sizes and styles. Covers are my marbled papers, Japanese papers, cyanotypes, maps, and various cute prints. All journals are hand-sewn by myself. I have miniatures for kids up to large sketchbooks.
Kathleen Barth
Wearable Fibers • Jewelry
I make hand-embroidered jewelry using upcycled fabrics and thread.
Birds of a Feather
Paintings
Prints and original watercolor paintings of whimsical birds mounted on birch blocks that can be hung on a wall or set on a shelf or table.

Journals • Notebooks • Sketchbooks • Magnets
I take upcycled board games and vintage books and turn them into notebooks, sketchbooks and journals. Game cards and library cards are repurposed into small notepads. I use a variety of games and books to create fun, unique, and slightly nostalgic items. I also offer magnets made from puzzles and game pieces.

Flannel Paper Towels
I make my flannel paper towels from 100% flannel cotton. After I purchase the yardage, it is washed to remove manufacturing chemicals and dried on high heat to minimize further shrinkage. I cut the yardage into 11" x 13" sheets and finish the raw edges to prevent them from fraying. After use, they can go in the laundry with anything (jeans, towels, etc.). They can also be used in place of napkins, as guest towels, for child care or personal care, in cleaning, etc. Use – Wash – Repeat – Smile, because your footprint just got smaller
Francis Chicoine
Carvings
I hand carve wooden spoons from locally sourced wood.
