Art in the Café: For the Love of Animals

Our December Art in the Café gallery in Northampton
is "For the Love of Animals" by local artist Sarah Marquesen!

I see my work as a way to bring the viewer a moment of happiness in a troubled world. Most of my work focuses on animals and I attempt for people to connect with more vulnerable creatures. As an artist, I have a cherished opportunity to encourage empathy and challenge societal norms. My goal is to stoke empathy to make a more compassionate world.

I am a Western Massachusetts based artist and proud member of the queer LGBTQIA+ community.
