Join Whole Woman® Practitioner Ruth Ever and Feldenkrais® Teacher Fritha Pengelly as they offer an experiential workshop that explores a Whole Woman approach to pelvic health that is grounded in the somatic experience that the Feldenkrais® work offers. They teach foundational information for anyone with a uterus, to prevent problems down the road, empower women around their bodies, and reduce symptoms they may be experiencing.
Many of us who have/had a uterus struggle with basic prolapse issues like heaviness, bladder leaking or urgency. It's hard to find basic useful information and we may feel embarrassed about this and thus isolated in our struggle.
During this class, we will...
- Explore how posture impacts pelvic prolapse and bladder issues
- Learn basic toileting techniques for good bladder health
- Practice a short Awareness Through Movement Feldenkrais® lesson to reinforce learning
