Dr. Rothenberg will share from her new book of the same title and lay out the landscape for addressing symptoms that remain after cancer care. She will describe both lifestyle and natural medicine approaches that improve the quality of life and impact of health outcomes for cancer survivors and those who love them. The presentation will be followed up with Q&A.

Dr. Amy Rothenberg is a doctor of naturopathic medicine in practice since 1986. The American Association of Naturopathic Physicians’ 2017 Physician of the Year, she is also president of the Massachusetts Society of Naturopathic Doctors and spearheaded their licensure effort. She was the longtime medical editor for the Institute of Natural Medicine. 

When diagnosed with cancer in 2014, Dr. Rothenberg sought care at a renowned teaching hospital and also had naturopathic doctors who specialized in integrative oncology create a medical dream team. Her book, You Finished Treatment, Now What? A Field Guide for Cancer Survivors is a roadmap for lifestyle and natural medicine to address the health challenges that persist after care, and to reduce the risk of recurrence. 

In her spare time, Dr. Rothenberg enjoys her art studio and time with family and friends. Dr. Rothenberg has worked with Paul Herscu ND, MPH since 1986. They raised three wonderful children, and enjoy the good life in Western Massachusetts.
