Co-op Virtual Workshop: Make Your Own
Small-Batch Veggie Ferments!
with Katie Korby of Real Pickles
Worker-Owner & Fermentation Manager
Thursday, June 30th, 2022 • 7pm – 8pm
Join Katie Korby and learn how to create flavorful recipes and make your own fermented veggies at home! In addition to discussing the basics of how fermentation works, Katie will demonstrate how to start a jar of sauerkraut. You’ll hear a bit about the history of fermentation, new research on health benefits, and the science behind what’s happening in those bubbly jars.
This workshop is good for folks who are just starting to ferment or those who have tried it a few times and want to learn a little more. There will be plenty of time for Q&A, so be sure to bring all your fermentation questions!
